Taschenbergpalais DresdenHotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden occupies a historic 18th-century palace on Sophie Street in Dresden's Innere Altstadt, positioned next to Dresden Castle, in front of the Zwinger, and adjacent to the Semperoper and Cathedral. The building, originally constructed in 1705, was destroyed in 1945 and reconstructed between 1992 and 1995, opening as the first five-star hotel in Saxony. Following extensive renovation completed in February 2024, the hotel combines surviving original architectural elements with contemporary design.
